what Is OET ?
The Occupational English Test (OET) is an international English language test that assesses the language communication skills of healthcare professionals. It is recognized by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as proof of English language proficiency for registration and practice in Australia.
The OET is also recognized by a growing number of healthcare regulatory bodies and employers around the world, including the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and Dubai.

Information on OET SUB- Tests
The OET consists of four sub-tests: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Each sub-test is scored out of a possible 50 points, with a score of at least 350 required to pass the test.
Listening
The Listening sub-test assesses a candidate's ability to understand spoken English in a variety of healthcare settings. It consists of a variety of audio recordings of healthcare professionals interacting with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. The sub-test lasts for approximately 45 minutes and includes audio recordings, questions, and answer sheets.
Reading
The Reading sub-test assesses a candidate's ability to understand written English in a variety of healthcare settings. It consists of a variety of texts, including letters, reports, and information sheets.The sub-test lasts for approximately 60 minutes and includes texts, questions, and answer sheets.
Writing
The Writing sub-test assesses a candidate's ability to produce written English in a variety of healthcare settings. It consists of two tasks, one requiring the candidate to write a letter and the other requiring the candidate to complete a report.The sub-test lasts for approximately 45 minutes and includes a prompt, answer sheet, and writing guidelines.
Speaking
The Speaking sub-test assesses a candidate's ability to communicate effectively in spoken English in a variety of healthcare settings. It consists of a one-to-one interview with an OET assessor. The sub-test lasts for approximately 20 minutes and includes a face-to-face interview with an OET assessor.
